Using the service

These terms apply when you use the Sitters Over FL website, WhatsApp booking service, forms, and related support. By submitting a request or sitter application, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, that you are authorized to provide it, and that you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Booking coordination

Sitters Over FL helps families and sitters communicate, exchange availability, and coordinate bookings. A request is not confirmed until the service identifies it as confirmed and provides the selected sitter’s details. Availability is not guaranteed, and submitted details may need to be clarified by a person.

Your responsibilities

• Parents and guardians must provide accurate booking, safety, access, and emergency information and make their own final decision about a sitter.
• Sitters must provide accurate profile and availability information and promptly disclose changes that affect a booking.
• You may not misuse the service, impersonate another person, send unlawful or harmful content, interfere with security, or use automated tools against the service without permission.
• Do not use WhatsApp or this service for emergencies. Call 911 or the appropriate emergency service.

Fees and cancellations

The booking flow will disclose applicable rates and fees before submission or confirmation. A parent who cancels a confirmed booking agrees to the disclosed $20 cancellation fee. A selected sitter may also receive a disclosed booking-fee payment link. Hosted payment pages are operated by Stripe, and payment-link completion is not currently used to change booking status automatically.

Safety and screening

Profiles and verification status help with coordination but do not eliminate risk or replace a family’s judgment, interviews, reference checks, or safety planning. Except for a screening or credential explicitly confirmed to you in writing, no particular background check, license, certification, or fitness determination is promised.

Communications and automation

You agree that Sitters Over FL may send service-related WhatsApp messages about requests, availability, confirmations, support, policies, and fees. Some routine messages are automated. You may ask for a person at any time, and a team member may take over the same WhatsApp conversation.

Service changes and availability

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features and may restrict access when reasonably necessary for safety, security, compliance, nonpayment, misuse, or maintenance. The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.
